When ideas come to life

Some of my posts on here will quite possibly never come into existence. Like that one about the vegan restaurant on top of the Empire State Building with all you can eat for $5. I’m no fool. That will never, ever happen.

But today I got solid proof that some of my ideas on here do come true.

It was this one.

After complaining that there were only posters for movies, and not for books, my friend in China - Billy Bob Bloodworth - wrote me to say that if I sent him a cover image of my favorite book (The Brothers Karamazov), he would print it out on poster paper and mail it to me. From China. It would be “Made in China,” to coin a phrase.

And that’s just what I did and then he did!

I don’t post pictures on Idea Province. That’s more of a Beat Jeremy Coon sort of thing. But I can link to them.

Here is a photo of me reading a book about the Russian Revolution while standing on a chair near my dresser under my newly installed Brothers K poster.

It’s a completely posed photo.

Nevertheless, the lesson here is obvious. Sometimes dreams do come true.

Thanks, Bob!!
