A riff on “Lousy” T-shirts
From my dad comes these two T-shirt ideas:
One shirt would say, “My parents elected George Bush president, and all I got was this lousy war.”The former reminds me of a bumper sticker idea I had while brainstorming bumper stickers with Joseph Weisenthal. It would have read, “Don’t Blame Me. I Voted for Bush, But My One Vote Didn’t Matter.”Another would say, “My parents went to Egypt but all I got was this lousy t-shirt. Actually, it’s 100 percent fine cotton, fit’s perfectly, and is quite comfortable.”
Unfortunately, when we decided on a sticker to actually print, we paid to make thousands of stickers that said, “Circumcision Doesn’t Go Far Enough.” A sticker that certainly had its admirers, but few people who actually wanted to slap it on their car. 5 years ago
