“Jessica!”

Two parents, dressed all fancy, are in Brooklyn, driving to a family dinner. The father drives, and the mother is the passenger. Their little daughter, Jessica, is at home in Manhattan.

From where they are driving, they can see the Manhattan skyline. Suddenly, the south half of Manhattan sinks underwater, tipping the north half of the island straight into the air, like a sinking ship. The buildings and bridges on the north half detach from the island, collapsing over each other, smashing and exploding and falling into the water as the rest of the island is swallowed by the river completely.

The mother sees this horrific sight and gasps. “Oh my God!” she shouts. “Jessica!”
