Infant Trouble

From David Askin:

a movie (or tv show) starring a character who was a fully developed, mature adult in every way EXCEPT that he/she had missed the stage in infancy of grasping object permanence. thus, any person/thing that went out of the character’s view would completely cease to exist in the eyes of the character. this would probably be regularly traumatic, but i think this would end up being a comedy, not a drama.
