Don’t Forget Us!
Nice small town guy with acting ambitions is beloved by his entire town. They know he’ll make it big, and are always teasing, “don’t forget us when you’re big and famous!” He always assures them that he won’t.
Then a casting director comes to town and the nice kid scores a major movie role in Hollywood, just as everyone knew he would. “Don’t forget us,” they remind him. And he promises he won’t.
He moves to L.A. temporarily for the shoot, and stays an uncorrupted good guy the entire time, always telling stories about the people from his town and never forgetting them for a second.
Except on the last day of filming, he’s hit on the head by a falling light and gets amnesia. He goes back to his town after three months in Hollywood, and he doesn’t remember a single person there. Antics ensue.
Of course he eventually gets his memory back and has to regain the trust of his town.
